Grand Ole Opry member Ernie Ashworth died Monday (March 2) at age 80. Best known for his recording "Talk Back Trembling Lips," a No. 1 country hit in 1963. Ernie became a Grand Ole Opry member in 1964 and was inducted into the Alabama Music Hall of Fame in 1992. His best friend and wife Bettye preceded him in death. They are both missed and loved.
